For the first time in the history of Vodopivec, maceration finds its abode in a Georgian terracotta amphora. It’s the vessel par excellence that brings out all the splendour that the grapevine has received, at times with difficulty, over the year so that it can now express itself at long last. A small symbol on the label, the colour of terracotta, reveals this. A three-day harvest, from September 24th to 26th. Six-month maceration in amphorae so that the grapes can realize their full potential.
