Vitovska 1998 marks the beginning of the careful attention given to maceration, a journey undertaken to experiment the possibilities of development, in search of that point of skilful balance. Maceration now becomes one of the distinctive elements of Vodopivec’s Vitovska. The grapes harvested on 6th October are left to macerate for a week. A year’s fining in barrels, then the wine is bottled.
