Time has certainly gone by since 2004 when Solo first made its debut. The conditions of a kind and generous year make it possible for the label to return with the features which had made it special. The bunches are harvested on September 17th from a single vineyard – just one – which grows with relentless temperament in very little soil on very rocky terrain. Six months of maceration with the skins in amphorae enhance the wealth of minerals which distinguish this wine, even before it undergoes fining for two years in oak wood.
